i saw my very first firefly tonight. at the ripe old age of 34!
i had just parked the car at the hotel in south jersey and thought something was sparking / like an ember. but as it turns out, it was a firefly! he lit up twice before i lost sight of him.
and then the rain, thunder and lightning started. coincidence?

Although in South Jersey, it could be a regular fly that is toxic? How long are you there for, anyway?
there must not be any in southern california!
do you remember andy? he's from south jersey. so it's extra yucky for me when i have to go there.
i was there for four days ... it was 95 degrees with a heat index of well over 100. i loathe that place.
